The purpose of the Millicoma River and Recreation District is to provide park and recreation facilities and activities for residents.
Our Vision is to dedicate ourselves to the responsible stewardship of places and ideas by which the diverse residents of the MRPRD sustain and strengthen community relationships and well-being.

November. 1986 Millicoma River Park and Reueation District formed to manage the Allegany school building and grounds as a community center (November). l99l Purchased the D-9C property at Allegany for $60,000 from sale of timber (Aug 12)

Our Community
Our community includes the scenic Gold and Silver Falls. The rustic park area is easily accessible with hiking trails leading to both the falls. The history is recorded in a book by Lionel Youst entitled "Above the Falls". Early days, the only way to access Allegany was either by boat or to coming across the falls.
